AC - A Life Saver?

Air Conditioning Can Actually Help Save Lives

Believe it or not, air conditioning in a home or office is about much more than just comfort. In some areas, the temperature and humidity can get so bad, that deaths occur because of it. Deaths of elderly, young children and babies and pets are the most that are recorded. Even if you might not think that the temperature in your home could ever get that bad, you just never know. If you live or work where extremely high temperatures do hit occasionally, you are going to want to make sure that you have proper air conditioning running.

Whether or not you go with central air is completely up to you. Many feel that there are negatives and positives to each choice. The bottom line though is that you need to have at least a portion of your home cooled off during the hot summer months, even if the living room is the only room with an air conditioner. This will provide a safe place for your family and pets to be during a heat wave.
